Former Bills WR Percy Harvin ready to make NFL return

Will former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Percy Harvin make a return to the NFL? It's quite possible.

The 31-year-old has been training for a return to the field, and seeing Rob Gronkowski come out of retirement was enough for him to make it known that he wants to make a comeback.

"I thought I was done, but that itch came back," Harvin said, according to ESPN. "My body is feeling good. Mentally I'm better. My family is good. The timing is right."

Who will take a gamble on Harvin, though? Although he hasn't played since 2016, he's always had dreams of playing with six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, because who wouldn't want to?

Much like Gronkowski, Harvin will have to put on some weight and get back into football shape if he plans to compete in 2020.

The University of Florida product had 353 receptions for 4,026 yards and 22 touchdowns in nine NFL seasons.

Harvin never played a full season in his years with the Bills, Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets, but still managed to make the most of his opportunities.

It's unlikely that Bruce Arians takes a gamble on Irvin, especially considering he's already got the likes of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin at wide receiver, but maybe a desperate team will give him a shot.

If he wants to play with Brady, he'll have to prove himself if he gets another shot in the NFL.
